Optimal lens type and thickness

Hey! I'm planning on buying my prescriptions at Zenni in the next few days and I need help. I've already chosen what my frames are and I'm left with what lenses to choose. O.D. (SPH)-1.00, (CYL)-0.50, Axis10 O.S. (SPH)-0.50, (CYL)-0.50, Axis180 I was just wondering what lens thickness and what type should I get for my needs. The choices are: a) STANDARD EYEGLASS LENSES b) OPTION: BLOKZ BLUE BLOCKERS c) OPTION: POLARIZED SUNGLASS LENSES d) OPTION: PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES I am leaning towards option B because I'm on my computer/phone for ~4 hours a day. Also what thickness should I get? Money isn't really an issue for me. I am willing to spend more because I am planning …

Wrong prescription? New prism glasses makes me see double.

Recently went to eye doctor for tired eyes, squinting at everything, putting books in my face to read the text. I spend ~80% of my day at the computer. Doctor prescribed the following: OD: (Sphere +0.25), (Cyclinder DS), (Vert Prism 4.5BD) OS: (Sphere +0.75), (Cylinder DS), (Vert Prism 4.5BU) I picked up my glasses today and immediately starting seeing double. Is this a sign that my prescription's wrong or too strong? I wasn't seeing double pre-appointment. When I take off the glasses I do see double and it feels like my eyeballs are rolling around trying to focus. All I really wanted was a pair of glasses that made far away things easier to see. I'm not sure if I …

To see the optometrist or not?

Hi. So in early Sept, I went to see a retinal specialist for an eye issue and turned out to be retinal edema and he booked me up for followup in December, i assume because usually it goes away by itself. So just a few days ago I noticed like sparks in my vision, that happen often, like flash, little spark, that often from time to time, sometimes in corner of eye, sometimes near my vision. Is this something I should show to the optometrist? I already been to an optometrist 2 times in august and got thorough check ups but there was no retinal detachment or nothing. So should I spent another $100 to do another check up for …

Is this normal or something serious?

Sorry for wasting your time with this but I have a strange question. So for a good few months at least now I've noticed that at night when looking to the hard left or right of my vision I'll get 'flashes' of light that look roughly like the sides of my eyes. (Small semi circles, sometimes almost whole, not at all jagged.) Googling this brings up a lot of panic about retinal tears but Ive done some tests and found that these flashes only really happen when my eyes are ADJUSTING to the darkness, if I sit in a very dark room for example I'll get these flashes for 2 maybe 3 minutes after which looking around won't cause anything. …
